The mayan calendar is a calendar based on the movements of the planets, moon and stars. The calendar
is accurate to date. The only thing that our astrologers are basing the end of world prediction on
is that the calendar ends on that date. I'm not saying that the world would end on 12-21-2010, but
that the mayans may have foreseen an event that would change our perspective of the heavens, thus
making the calendar impossible to determine after that date. |

No, they did not have the same calendar that we have but there were adjustments made in the
calculations to come up with the December 2012 date. If you get a chance look up Mayan Calendar
and long count. |
