The Manliness Of An Alcoholic Drink Usually Diminishes In Proportion To Each Extra Ingredient Added To It.
(I'm just trying to liven things up a little, I really don't care what you drink). Anyway - Rum is manly enough. Rum and Coke is still manly but a step down. Then if you keep adding juices and flavored liquors and sweeteners each add-on makes it a little less manly. Frankly the way you order makes a difference too. "Cuba Libre" in a seedy bar may raise some eyebrows but "Rum and Coke" is the same thing and probably won't.

The manly thing to do is say, "Just give us the bottle, we don't need no stinking glasses."

 I miss the thing where they just mark the bottle when they give to you and charge you by the inch. Kind of like my younger days as a gigolo.

I have a few personal views on manliness. It's nothing to do with grunge in any way. It kinda relates to my philosophy on aesthetics and destiny as well. Alcohol? How about Chloroform?

Really. You have a point. Alcohol is weakened with extra stuff replacing it. Maybe you vouch for liquor and beer is punk for being 5%

 It's a good point that the % of alcohol content also might be a manly man's criteria. But then again there are plenty of women who can drink me under the table regardless of quantity or quality of booze.
