The Lion Can't Be King Of The Jungle.
Technically lions dwell more in the open plain don't they? There, you have elephants, hyenas both which seem to dominate the lions movements. Within the jungle itself, You have gorillas, what can a lion do with those?

Maybe mosquitoes are the true kings of the jungle. Every animal hates and fears them, they are utterly everywhere, and their malaria has killed more people than any other creature living in Africa.

It seems that if any cat would be the King of the jungle it would be the Tiger or the lepord. Lions generally live in savanna areas.

 That is a strong point but does art imitate life here? Seems that kings used to wear the hide of a lion, claiming that is was the most feirce, yet it being a lazy shiftless beast, would make it a easy target for catching huh?

Although this is true, the lion king has some religious value to it -my opinion- kind of like Narnia. So i think that is why the lion is King

 What value is that, Males created religion. Dog eat dog, only the strong looking survives. These are their values while the lioness does the real hunting and fending.

There is a difference between can't and won't. The lion is a very fierce predator, and may be able to survive in the jungle.

 That's the lioness, and no one calls her the queen of the jungle, she hunts protect and the female trains the young males. Does she get any credit or meat, of course not.
