The Law As It Is Now Should Not Be Allowed To Protect Under Age Offenders
The young teens today, know they are protected, so if they break the law, stealing ,assault, stabbing etc. They know they will basically get a slap on the wrist, so what is stopping them, if they weren't protected under the young offenders laws in Canada, maybe they would think twice before they do the crime.

It's ridiculous how they can get away with near enough anything they do because of the law.
If there was no age protection, a lot of them would think twice before they committed a crime knowing that they are going to suffer for it.
Children who commit crimes such as stabbings should be made to suffer for what they have done - the majority of them get off too lightly and it's an insult to the victim and the victim's family.
