Bringing industry to poor countries is a good idea as long as both the company and the employees
benefit from it. |

You're characterising this in the wrong way. The operations you speak about should be mutually
beneficial as long as everything is conducted on a voluntary basis. If the people in the poor
countries you speak of choose to work in these factories, then that option must be more appealing to
them than any other they have available, otherwise they wouldn't do it.
So both the companies from the industrialised world and the citizens of the developing world should
benefit from the transaction. |
