The Human Rights Commission Is A Problem.
They are imposing too many laws on free speech, and causing countries like Canada to lose their democracy.

It is a creepingly insidious method of gaining control over ordinary people, and usually protects those who have done wrong in the first place.

Although not perfect, human rights commissions serve a valuable role. Many of the "rights" that we might appreciate and take for granted are in law because of the work of human rights activists. Voting rights, child labour laws, Workplace safety, vacations, privacy acts, etc.

 very true, however they have a very nasty dark side that the media often dosen't adress.
for example, there was a man smoking medicinal marjiuana in front of a resturant. when the owner told the guy to not light up his marijuana in front of the resturant, the guy went off to the HRC. the owner wound up having to give $1000 dollars in "mental anguish".
the HRC is now forcing mcleans not to publish anything about islam.
so as you can see. dark side.
