The Greatest Debate Of All: To Marry ANY But Your One-True-Soul-Mate Is Slapping The Face Of Almighty God
I have come to my final conclusion after 40+ years of experience, and preponderance of all evidence: To marry for ANY reason than TRUE LOVE: Your ONE True SoulMate, is one of the most evil deeds there can be. Your heart is only one heart: You can only give it truly ONCE. Just like your life. Choose wisely.....you've only got......one....... To Give. Gotta say it...

Jesus is our soulmate. To not marry Him may be a slap in the face of God but it's OK. Jesus bought our forgiveness.

What if you are voluntarily making a selfless sacrifice so many others will benefit? An example would be if your large family is starving to death and your marrying a wealthy or powerful man will actually save the lives of many people. Or think in terms of the old monarch years - when a princess from one kingdom would marry to another kingdom because it helped deter massive wars.

Surely asking someone else to make this type of sacrifice is wrong. But what if the person chooses on their own to do it, and not for their own greed or power but genuinely to help others?

Leaving the religion question aside, it can be very hard for someone to know those things except perhaps in hindsight. Marriage is as much or more about living the commitment every day than the original connection. There many reasons why even if you stay true a marriage can end that hardly mean you can never love or even marry again. Overall I have to say I find your view of marriage to be simplistic.
