Yes.
The Government is scared of the power the lowly people would have TO REVOLT if we rose up and threw
those unlawfully-conceived-elitists off their self-imposed-thrones!
The Government has been dishonest with citizens about their experimentation in to many things for a
great many years, not just at this time.
Aliens? I do not know.
But everyone knows they do cloud-seeding.
Who knows what that does to people's lungs?
UFO stuff is just one small portion of the Governmental control: Area 51 stuff, x-files and all that
jazz.
Bet the iceberg of information has 95% more beneath the surface, you know what I'm saying?
We, the people, wonder. |

If they are communicating with aliens, they should certainly tell us. I think, after an intial
flurry of excitement and panic, that we would be mature enough to handle it. Even the Vatican has
come out recently and said that aliens might exist.
There was a time when the authorities discussed the possibility of extra-terrestrial visitation
openly. The US air force used to talk about flying saucers, for example. But part way through the
official Project Blue Book investigation, the tack changed. From then on, all stories about UFOs
were rubbished or ignored.
Some say that the Orson Welles broadcast of War of the Worlds was responsible in part for the change
in policy. It told the tale of a Martian invasion in such a way as to seem that it was actually
happening there and then. People went wild with panic. When re-broadcasts were done in Latin
America, people were actually killed in the ensuing chaos. This may have been what convinced
governments that their people couldn't handle the truth.
As to whether or not they really are communicating with aliens, I'm not sure. There were stories and
leaked documents relating to a supposedly secret organisation called Majestik 12 which was involved
in interacting with aliens. You can see some of these documents online. They are quite convincing
and it's obvious that a lot of effort has gone into them if they were forged. The documents were
released in various batches which were sent anonymously to UFO researchers. Some have been shown to
be forgeries. That should discredit them all, you might think. But if genuine documents really had
been released, most likely governments would try and discredit them by releasing forgeries to call
the real documents into question. |

Sorry, I just don't believe we're in communication with aliens. That doesn't mean I don't think
they could exist. But look, we wouldn't be funding SETI, wouldn't be tinkering with space stations
and future trips to Mars, if we were already in direct contact with a superior alien race. Nor
would some of the minutia distracting our governments get nearly the credence it does now. When
aliens present themselves it will change the big picture and draw into question our
socio-politico-economic differences between people. You would see a difference in how governments
were behaving even if they had chosen to hide the communication from the public. And frankly, I see
no difference in how governments are acting, they're the same selfish and corrupt governments they
always were. Nothing has changed. |

I looked Kerrang up, and it doesn't look like a very reliable source. I don't think the government
is dealing with aliens. But that's not what this is about.
Assuming the government is communicating with aliens, they still should not tell us. First,
ignorance is bliss. Second, people would end up wanting to kill the aliens or something. You know
what people do. If we are willing to kill other humans and other species on earth, we would be more
than happy to kill something else. Also, plenty of people wouldn't believe them even if they did
tell us. Basically, if the government is dealing with aliens, they should keep it quiet for the
sake of both species. |

Are you saying Aliens are running our world now? Is that by mind control or are the actually sitting
in the White House? I always thought that George Bush looked a wee bit spaced out. But no, come on
you're kidding me, right? |
