| The FCC Is Falling Down On The Job... |
| Part of the mandate for the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) is to ensure accuracy of information on the publicly owned air waves. How many times have you seen ads for and against Prop XYZ that COMPLETELY contradict each other? Misleading, incomplete, and often completely FALSE information is being presented regarding issues that we are expected to give an "informed vote" on. The FCC is SUPPOSED to prevent such garbage from going on the air, or at LEAST take severe punitive action against those who put it there. We should ALL be writing them and congress to get them on track! |

They're supposed to ensure the accuracy of broadcast info? I didn't even know anyone was in charge
of that. Guess that proves your point. |

I'm not all for over-regulating things, but when it comes to presenting the public with accurate
info on subjects that we are about to go vote on, the FCC is there to flip the OFF switch on the
"propoganda machine", and they are asleep at the wheel, and have been for FAR too long IMPO. |
