Even if it didn't you should take care of you own back yard first. |

FYI - I am officially pledging to throw garbage bags out my car window everytime I see a "save the
world" post on here. The funny thing is I'll do it knowing that in the grand scheme of things what
I'm doing won't make a bit of difference, just like the entire green movement.
It amazes me how you tree-huggers are so self rightous as to believe you're the only ones who would
prefer the planet not be destroyed. Do you really think that most people don't know that throwing
plastic bags into the ocean is a bad idea? Do you really think anyone is going to go to bed tonight
and cry because a tree has been cut down? What about 20,000 trees?
Why don't you take up a new hobby like reminding people to chew their food before they swallow it or
help us all synchronize our breathing, just to see what will happen. Either of those has to be more
useful than this garbage. |

This topic should have read "The Environment Needs You... To Go Away". Consider this argument:
"Humans are definitely a blight on this planet. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a
natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to another
area, and you multiply, and you multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you
can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the
same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this
planet."
