| Well over 90% of all of the species that have ever been on this planet are extinct, long gone, without any human intervention whatsoever. Something like 30 species of creatures go extinct every day, and those are just the ones we knew about. We are constantly discovering "new ones" daily as well. Why do we try and pick and chose a few favorites to protect? |
