Her business was ignored but when she decided to shut it down and go live in another country, she was targeted for prosecution. Several prominent politicians had their careers damaged or destroyed by her releasing some or all of her client records. She may have had more revelations to make but was holding the information back as a kind of negotiating ploy with the powers that be. She explicitly said she feared being murdered and would not commit suicide. She was assassinated. |
