I believe that the Conservative Party will never fully and truly appeal to the Working Class. The
Conservative Party may bring in some policies that working class people feel are an improvement on
the status quot but deep down I believe that real Conservative values (big business and not those
who cannot find work) are not attractive to the working class.
I know the current Labour Party have moved towards the right but deep down I believe the UK is still
and will always be divided by class and the Conservative Party will always be more representative of
the upper classes. |

They have always appealed to small sections of the working class. Under thatcherism, the working
class vote for the Tories was at its highest. Today, the w/c voters will still vote for them mainly
because of they dislike the labour party policies. The biggest incentive for working class to vote
Tory is lower taxation. Another section of the w/c has deserted Labour for the BNP. |
