If you mean "rock" as in cradle, because their music is infantile.
Otherwise, it's bland 3-chord "hit writing" without any challenge to the listener.

Gutterman doesn't sound like a know-nothing, he is a know-nothing. I've heard the Beatles, and they
sucked. If I want to hear 1960s hit-writing, I'll listen to The Hollies and The Who, and if I want
to hear inventive music, I'll listen to Cream, Yes and anything involving Keith Emerson (e.g. The
Nice).
