I agree that one must be responsible for their actions and this includes the American people. I in
no way believe that we committed mass genocide, but I see your extravagant example as evidence even
though it's a bit much... I'm not sure what issues were talking about specifically here. Everyone
seems to be choosing their own thing to argue about. Iraq, torture you name it. I think in the
description you should put some of the issues you wish to talk about. This debate is too broadly
based. |

They are guilty. They are even more guilty than the German people were in the 1930s. Hitler came to
power democratically then instituted a dictatorship. America has remained a democracy throughout.
The American people have approved Bush's actions every step of the way. Yes, the elections have been
stolen, but you can only steal so much of an election. You can only shift the results by about 5% or
so before it becomes too obvious.
The American people have approved torture and the wanton murder of innocent civilians. The posters
opposite provide a striking illustration of their stupidity, ignorance and complicity in the crimes
of the Bush regime.
Justifying the invasion of Iraq by saying "They attacked us" makes no more sense than Hitler's
justification of his aggressive wars by saying the same thing. |

That is so true. Bush made a lot of bad decisions which will take a long time to reverse. The most
shocking thing was the fact that the American people voted him in four more years. |

Yep Guilty of protecting ourselves. No more terrorist attacks since 9-11 we our President &
Congress went on the offensive and fought Al Qaida in 2 of their largest supporting nations.
Killed a few fanatics before they tried and succeeded in killing us. Hmm I don't see the problem. |

Why are the people guilty for the bush administration's failure? |

If we are to say that Americans are collectively guilty for the trespasses committed by their
government, then I am afraid that every person in any country--living or dead--would also be guilty
for the heinous acts that their leaders committed at one point in their history. Using this logic,
the British are doubly guilty for having subjected so much of the world to a brutal imperial agenda
and--indeed--all Europeans are guilty for the inherent racism that has permeated their cultures and
societies. If the Americans can do nothing to erase the collective guilt associated with eight years
of the Bush administration, then Europeans can be as progressive, open-minded, tolerant and
multicultural as they want, but they will never shake off the centuries of imperialism,
antisemitism, genocidal racism and their long-standing yearning for global white supremacy.
But I've got a better solution: How about we banish the concept of collective guilt and stop passing
judgment over people simply because they happen to live in a country led by an unsavoury government. |

Actually, I gotta go with the French, Germans and Russians being the guilty. Looks like Euros to
me.
Fact is, had the French, Germans and Russians stood with the US when the US BEGGED them to...the
world would be much different.
As for the world economy, welcome to the anti-Bush league. It all began with the push to get
Americans into first homes they could not afford during the Clinton administration. Something for
nothing...the great thinking shared by those who espouse all things beautiful. That would include
many in present day Europe.
It was accelerated in 2004 by Barnie Frank and other espousers of all things beautiful when they
(and I watched the proceedings - I'm not much into getting my info from other people) shot down all
attempts to regulate Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.
Anyway, Euros and Democrats. Guilty. Bush and Republicans. Guilty. But less guilty. |

Oh, please. We had perfect reason to invade Iraq and Afghanistan. WE WERE ATTACKED FIRST, so we
retaliated. I honestly don't see what the big deal is... |
