There's No Such Thing As Cheating In A Relationship...
Relationships aren't a contest to see who does a better job, who stays monogamous the longest. Is there a prize at the end of a relationship? Aren't they for potential married couples? Marriage it's self is a contract naming property owners, not a contest.

The cultural definition of marriage has been a relationship, for life, between one man and one woman, for the purpose of growing and maturing, sex and raising a family. Certainly, it is an economic unit, shares property and so forth. But it can't be reduced to just that or just a contest. It is more than a contract, it is a covenant. A covenant says I'm with you no matter what.

So "cheating" (adultery) is a most devastating event in a marriage relationship---but a marriage absolutely can survive it.

I have been married four times: I have experience in this area.
I do not recommend Marriage at all.

I believe it is a beautiful theory, and in a perfect world nothing could be more fantastic. But this is NOT heaven.

Infidelity happens. It happens a lot.

Sometimes it's the man who strays, sometimes its the woman.
Once someone strays, its ruined forever. Infidelity always changes something you never get trust or respect back once lost its lost forever lost.

The damage of this betrayal is very long lasting. It corrupts trust which is one of the most important of all principles in a committed relationship. It is a life changing event, and i see no benefit to the experience at all. Typically we can find a lesson in negative experiences, but this only hurts without any gain. It lowers the individual in all aspects of development.

Cheating is a painful experience on both sides. If it is done to you, you are devastated and if you do it to someone you care about you are racked with guilt and despair. We all should strive not to even though i know it is very hard to do...

 Well suppose no one is sexually messing around people still see what you are doing as cheating especially if it is known that you are attracted to a person.

 No, I'm not trying to be a pig, It's just fascinating the way the bible write the laws on the subjects of relationships--
real careful as to make certain things more of a sin of women do it as opposed to men doing it. Sounds like it's not cheating if men have more than one women.
