Teenage Girls Only Get Small Dogs To Dress Them And Make Them Fashionable And Other Stuff.

Celebrities have such an impact on naive minds. It is sad, really. The celebrities look like idiots carrying around those dogs all time and more and more keep doing it. Teenage girls just want to be cool and be accepted. I really think that girls need to be confident in themselves and do their own thing. Celebrities aren't anyone special. They were lots of makeup, have lots of money because they can sing or act, but they are just people too. The news makes it worse by following these people around trying to get into every aspect of their lives and blowing it out of proportion to the public. This results in teenagers mimicking these idiots.

Yes they do and I don't think they should use their pets in this way. Pets aren't really fashion accessories.

They technically do it to feel closer to their pet. They bond this way. Even if the animal dislikes it, I'm sure it enjoys the time with her and the attention.

I think they do and so they feel cool with their dog, it's like wearing your pet because you dress them so you look fashionable.

Oy!! I'm a teenage girl, and no one at my school gets little dogs to dress them up. IF we get a little dog, it generally has a job to do. Maybe that's not so in big schools (I go to school in a town called Ranchester Wyoming- lots of ranch kids), but not all teenage girls dress up their dogs (I personally prefer Australian Shepherds).

I prefer medium-sized or large dogs.
Despise small dogs that look like rats.

Alaskan Huskies, or Australian Shepherds are the best dogs.

I'm not a teen anymore, but even when I was, I didn't dress my dogs up like a barbie doll. They were smaller dogs, so if it was cold outside, they'd get a sweater ( and I mean like trudging through snow drifts cold), but the sweater came off when they came inside. The dogs hated their sweaters and I hated having to put them on them, but I hated watching them shiver in the cold even more.

Some girls do but it isn't all teenage girls. Guys and adult females do it too. I think that dressing a small dog in the winter for walks is a good thing. Small dogs don't have enough body heat to keep themselves warm but they still deserve walks in the winter just like ever other dog.

Not all teenage girls get animals to dress them like Barbie dolls.
I certainly would treat a dog like it's supposed to be treated.
At the end of the day, these girls look like ponces. Tells a lot about what they want to be when they...grow up.
