I can't believe it's not bigger than it currently is. |

No big deal, it's getting researched elsewhere. It'll be just one more area of scientific
advancement that we won't be a part of and won't have access to for ten years after everyone else. |

This would be a great idea. It would be for the people, funded by the people. |

The potential for medical breakthroughs using stem cell research far outweighs the concerns of a
handful of the ultrareligious. |

First of all i'm against it because to me its imoral but that about the stem cell research but as
far as taxpayers funding it, that's crazy. We already fund so much going on and the economy is bad
and i don't have money to throw away like that. And i believe it should be like the days of edison
if you want to study something you should commit yourself and get sponsors and grants of different
companies and people that support your issue. I wouldn't want my tax money going to that because i
don't believe in it. That's like saying taxpayers should fund the vuilding of a new Muslim mosque. |

Hey here is a idea lets just have everyone give everything to the gov.(because we all know how great
they are at managing things) then they can dole out what they see fit. This is ridiculous there is
too much gov. Interventions in things now. If stem cell research shows so much promise then someone
will see it as a opportunity and go for it. You are much better leaving gov. Out of it. I also think
we need to look at what is and is not a necessity. |
