Tabloid Newspapers Cause More Disruption Than They're Worth.
They corrupt and sensationalise news to cause panic and fear. The articles are horribly biased and more often than not based on fiction rather than fact. All they care about is selling more papers. Broadsheets are much more informative and give the news as it is, without attempting to convey that one opinion or course of action is better than the other.

Tabloid newspapers are fine if people are looking for some gossip, but for facts, they should stick to broadsheet newspapers.

Yeah. Back in 2003, The Sun printed a story about how asylum seekers were slaughtering and eating ducks. WHAT THE HELL! Needless to say, it was false, but more than enough people were taken in by it, mostly ultra-nationalists who use any excuse to bash asylum seekers forgetting the tragedies they have left behind.
