People have done studies on this? Idiots...
You don't have to be homosexual if you're ''emo''.
And you don't have to be ''emo'' if you're homosexual.
This is as bad as saying ''all chavs are in-the-closet-homosexuals''.
You can't just generalise like that. |

What studies exactly, and what idiot would even make such a random connection? They are probably the
most widely spaced apart topics as there is possible so whoever linked them is insane. |

I do not see your two connections of these divergent components:
1. Emo fashions/clothing expressions,
2. Homosexual behavior.
Connect the two dots for us, please, if you are able to at all.
Thank you. |

Yeah, what studies? Besides, emo is a genre of music, NOT a fashion statement. And most gay people I
know just dress like any other person. |

Pure tripe. Here's a different way to look at it. In every generation there are people who feel
marginalized or victimized by society, who rebel against convention, who express themselves
differently. They often end up in alternative-cultural movements (punk, goth, emo, whatever). Now,
homosexuality is one of those situations where people feel victimized and marginalized. It would
make sense for many homosexuals to be more comfortable in the Emo crowd. But homosexuality is just
one of MANY MANY REASONS a person could feel alienated by society. IT IS UTTER TRIPE TO SAY IF
SOMEONE IS EMO THEY'RE LIKELY GAY. |

While they may be pathetically angst people "rebelling against the man" and "being different" ( but
the same as every other "emo" ), I don't think that they are particularly likely to have homosexual
tendencies. |

That is a strange comparison. |
