No, I wouldn't, because cows don't worry about such things. |

Our great country guarantees me freedom of religion. My religion says God gaves us the plants and
animals and we are to subdue the earth and have dominion over the animals. If you choose to not eat
meat, so be it, but don't push your beliefs on to the rest of us that choose to eat animals. I love
animals but I also hunt and fish and raise rabbits for show and to eat. |

I believe in animal welfare, but not animal rights. Animals should not be treated like they are
human beings. That is like saying the life of a calf is more important than the life of a human
infant. If you believe that, then I am afraid of you and feel that you would view the slaughter of
a human as equal to the slaughter of a cow. |

We are omnivorous and meat is an important part of our diet, and no it is not perfectly substituted
by tofu and the like.
You will never ever succeed in converting the whole world to a vegan lifestyle. Sorry, but it will
never happen. |

That line of thinking is mildly naive. Do you think every one is a rich European or American? Some
people depend on animals for food or a living. |

Cows get spooked easily. I don't believe they have the same concept of death as we do. What they do
have is fight fight mechanisms. Good farming calls for good animal husbandry.
If you carry on down that train of thought then you could say the same about carrots or cucumbers.
Survival would change most peoples mind about killing animals. |

No it wouldn't scare me because my intelligence would be so lacking that i thought i was being
pampered with all this grass and water. Meat is required and animals are to intellectually lacking
that they'd never realize they were being raised to be killed. |

Killing isn't what's wrong.
It's the torturing that they do before they kill the animals that is the wrong part. |

You need to kill animals so the population can stay down and not over run the human population. I
agree that poaching is bad and there should be stricter punishment on that but you still need to
kill animals to survive. You also have to have the nutrients that meat has to keep your body
functioning correctly |

I love eating fresh meat because I was raised that way and we need to keep wildlife population
controlled |

Are you and BullDog crazy? First of all without hunting and fishing animals in prehistoric times,
humanity might not have survived. Second of all, bears, tigers, sharks, dolphins etc. Hunt and eat
animals so if they can why can't we? Third, meat eating is mentioned all- over the bible, it is in
the book of Exodus when the Jews eat lamb as they depart Egypt and in the gospels when Jesus gives
fish and bread to feed crowds. What do you have against all that? |

Animals probably aren't intelligent enough to realise what's happening to them so I doubt they are
scared. Maybe at the very end, they will be scared a bit. |
