I am not sure, though akido can teach you how to kill, It is possible to kill with a punch. Lets get
it on, no great loss, whoever loses, |

As long as he didn't have to chase Mr. Clod too far I think Segal would clean the floor with him.
More than a hundred yards and the vino and chicken wings would start to tell. |

He can also use his beer belly as an additional weapon. |

I think Steven Seagal radiates a kind of genuine menace. Despite the fact that he tries to project a
certain Buddha-like image in some of his films, there are stories about him bullying and abusing his
sexual partners and low-level staff on movie sets. Of course, being mean and sadistic doesn't
necessarily translate into success in a fight, but it probably counts for something.
Seagal also has a bodyweight advantage over Van Damme which might prove telling. And, while I freely
admit I know little about them, my impression is that Aikido would probably be more effective than
Karate, simply because it is defensive in nature and based on turning the opponents' moves against
them, while I think Karate has a lot of glitzy moves that are mainly for show. |

I would say Van Damme purely because he's currently in better shape. Segal has let himself go a bit.
I like Van Damme more anyway, all Segal does is slap people and they die (in his films anyway).
While he is head of the SWAT team in his town and an honorarary Sheriff, his fighting techniques,
from what I've seen look too elaborate to be effective. When watching Van Damme however, you can
really feel the impact of his moves. |

Jean-Claude Van Damme is a real professional who can fight without using stuntmen and tricks. Seagal
is just an actor, paid to act in pre-arranged fight scenes.
I would bet all my money on JC ! |
