There already is. It's called a pair of rabbit ears. Are the people on this site so young
they have never heard of VHF transmission?

It makes no sense to me for local and regional broadcasters to abandon VHF. The only reason it's
happening is because conglomerates have too much power in TV and radio. There used to be laws
limiting how many TV and radio stations one person could own, but those laws were turfed out in the
1980s so a$$hole$ like "Klear Khannel Kommunications" could exist and take over entire networks.
Abandoning VHF also forces consumers to buy unnecessary and new TVs and converters, something
manufacturers are also very happy about.

Yeah yeah yeah! Like we need wireless connection for tv's you can't even lift. The BBC put a stop
to free tv. |

That cable guy didn't know what he was talking about. Wireless technology just isn't fast enough at
the moment to transmit live HD video, especially over long distances. You'd be getting tons of lag,
lots of video breakup, etc. It's a nice idea, it just won't work with current technology. |
