Smoking Should Be Limited To Certain Places
If someone says that they am going to commit suicide then someone will tell someone else and once caught the person would be considered mentally unstable If someone put extremely small amounts of poison into my body daily and someone found out the same would happen So if someone smokes cigarettes and while they may not definitely kill the person but still harm there body daily Then why is smoking not illegal

Smoking is already severely limited, at least in the U.S. You cannot smoke in public places, virtually every workplace, bars and restaurants, or on airplanes.
I live in Nevada, where the gaming industry successfully lobbied to exempt casinos from the smoking ban. We have the highest rate of tobacco use of the fifty states. But even here, smoking is very restricted.
Countless studies have proven that second-hand smoke is harmful, most of all to children. How many times have you entered your job site, only to have to pass through the offal of exiled smokers, furiously puffing away outside?
I’m sick and tired of hearing smokers bleat about their rights. I do not have the legal right to murder you; yet that is what you are doing to me with second-hand smoke.
My favorite hypocrites are parents who claim that their kids are safe because Dad only smokes outside. Ha!

Smoking should be limited in the same way religion should be limited: It should only be allowed in the home, or in specific places where smoking is permitted (call them "smokeasies" instead of speakeasies), and NOT where it is not welcome, such as public places.

If smokers kept their filth to themselves and where it doesn't affect others, nobody would complain. But like religious filth, the smokers think they have a right to inflict it on those who want nothing to do with it.

Smoking should indeed be limited to certain places. It should be limited to places where there are no other people around. Better still, it should be banned altogether. It's extremely unfair for people who do not smoke to have their lungs filled with dirty, dangerous smoke simply because other people cannot kick the habit. It's dangerous to everyone and should therefore be banned.

If someone wants to be able to kill themselves, that's fine by me, they just can't take others with them. Inject whatever poison you want into your own veins, just keep it out of my lungs.

Oh dear...
I agree with Snipex that is a bad analogy.
The smoking ban is built on petty authoritarianism and junk science.
Here are the figures, from the Action and Smoking and Health (ASH is an actual anti-smoking lobby group in Britain):
The incidence of lung cancer for non-smokers is about 10 cases per 100,000 people. Regular passive smoking (that is, living with a smoking partner, not just encountering one in bars or restaurants) increases that by about 25 per cent - 12.5 cases per 100,000. So, even if these figures are correct, passive smoking causes 2.5 cases of lung cancer per 100,000 of the population; to put it another way, these are odds of 40,000-to-one of potentially getting lung cancer from passive smoking.

So in other words, not everyone gets cancer and dies, just some people.

Smoking should just be outlawed. Second hand smoke kills thousands of people every year. Smoking is murder.

Now look I know a lot of people die of it every year but it's not that everyone does. I mean in shops in American sell guns next to childrens toys, which is a great threat to CHILDREN! And it's they're life. In the middle of the streets it just floats up not harming anyone and if you still to scared to go near the smokers walk another way because it's a free world and there should have been rooms in pubs, clubs and resteraunts for smokers.

Bad analogy, and if people want to kill themselves ( by whatever means ) then they should be allowed to.
