Yes, intelligent people have more of a chance than athletes, because the athletic world is such a
competitive field. But if you compare an NFL football player to an engineer, you will see that the
football player is more successful. So while intelligent people have more of a chance, athletes
have more of a reward if they are successful.
Most athletes are smart anyway they need to study an insight of the human body... Plus do u see how
much money footballers get these days. Rediculous amounts but its true.
It all depends on the luck a person has with the opportunities they seize, the effort they are
willing to put in, and the dedication they have to their sport,activity or subject i think. Also
outside support from parents or organisations would be highly beneficial to the success and
progression of a person to their chosen status or career.
And how do you determine what a successful life is? Athletes and 'smart people' have different
goals, and aspirations. It would be stupid to think that intelligence gives you a better chance of a
successful life than athletes as everyone is different.
Yes, you could. But since so many people just want to be athletic, I believe that people who are smart and athletic have a better chance in the intelligence zone, where there are not as many people.
