The majority of complications are CAUSED BY medical intervention. Back when we didn't drug Mothers
there was no need for intervention. Now, interventions are tenfold what they are in some other
developed countries? A few years back, the c-section rate in this country was a shamefully large
large number. These emergency surgeries are caused by drugs such as Pitocin and other non-necessary
pharmaceuticals. I didn't need any of that. I gave birth naturally, stood, walked, showered, cared
for my baby - was in good spirits and wide awake - not so groggy that I couldn't even hold my new
baby!

Yeah, who wants to watch that. In fact, I think it should be mandatory. And then she should go cook
some dinner. |

It's smart in the majority of cases to have emergency help nearby.
BUT
It's not unnatural for a woman to have a baby by herself, ironically, it's more unnatural to force
her to go to a hospital.
It should be the woman's choice. It still hope she will choose to have the help, but who are we to
tell her and nature they are wrong? |
