Yes, stop killing whales. It is a horrible thing to do. How would the whalers feel if they died of
air loss if the were a whale or being stabbed so they bleed to death. I'm sure they would hate it. |

There is not longer any reason to hunt whales, and they are getting closer to extinction everyday,

I absolutely Agree!!! Whale hunting is a cruel worthless thing and waste of time! People should care
for animals!
Yes maybe the ocassional one if their 'type' of whale species is too great!

Unless those here on this board eat whale meat why would you want to see something else become
nothing but a picture in a book because there are any. They are awesome why keep killing things you
don't eat..or not being a part of prevention |

Imagine a situation where a whale is chasing you and you are gasping for breath. It sounds like the
worst nightmarish situation that any human being can think about. But this is the bitter truth that
we have become selfish enough to kill innocent whales for our own interest. The whales are being
killed since ages for the ‘Whale oil’, which has great commercial value in the market.
It is a proven fact that whales are intelligent species who can very well feel the pain of being
injured. Generally the whalers use spears with grenade-tips to kill them, which initially pierce
their body and then gradually deepen the wound. Moreover a whale is never killed at the first hit,
which makes their death more painful. According to the animal activists the gruesome act of hunting
whales should be banned on the ground of extreme cruelty. |

I agree with Cephus, whales are just another animal. The only way we can place them above any other
animal that we kill for food is by subjective opinions, and laws should not be based solely on
personal preferences. |

Stop anthropomorphizing whales. While we certainly need to have strict limits on how whales are
hunted, there's nothing wrong about hunting them for their meat than there is to kill cows for your
hamburger. |
