OK I want to get one point across is that all rap music does not include sex cars money or as people
have said talk about killing someone there many rapper out there that have good flows that are
positive to the world is just that the mainstream media just like talking about one espect of rap
music so to say that rap talks about car, sex, and killing someone is ALL FALSE |

How ever much I hate rap music (except for some Eminem lol) it would not be fair to ban it. Everyone
should be able to listen to what they want.
Although I really don't see why debates such as this keep apearing, as I have seen no reports that
the Government is trying to ban rap music. |

I hate rap music and never want to hear another rap song, but no, it shouldn't be banned. It's not
like all of it has violent or sexist lyrics anyway, that's just a stereotype. I would like it if rap
was banned, but I don't think there is any reason to ban it. |

I hate rap but i think those who like it should be able to listen to it if they want and if they
make it illegal that wont stop anyone it'll just be another way for the government to collect more
money for something stupid. |

I believe rap music should not be banned!! After all, murdering is banned, obviously, but people
still do it!! People will always find a way to listen to it whether it's banned or not!! Banning rap
music would just put more hastle on the government!! Making sure people don't listen to it,
punishing all the people who listen to it!! And what about the rap cds people already have bought?
How can they make sure every body's cds get taken off them?? Exactly, they can't!! So why bother
putting the hastle on themselves?? |

Although I personally believe that the rap music does not contain any such material which would
produce a permanent influence to the society, but it is like a spicy kind of music that gives the
people to get relief for a limited period of time. This rap music does not carry and convey a very
moral friendly support to the country but accordingly, we can not discount its increasing
popularity. The Government should not ban the rap music. If anyone says about its ill effects, then
I must say that every medium like television has its ill effect. But we have to make ourselves
controlled by saying that this rap music contains no such positive outlook towards life. So we
should not concentrate much to this genre of music. But banning could lead to an economical fall to
the industry and this will not be acceptable at all. |

It would never happen.This is a free country .These rappers are protected by the first amendment.But
i do not listen to this music and believe it has led our country on a moral downfall since the early
nineties.I believe we should boycott any rap artists who we feel is corrupting youth.As you say ,no
need to ban and i agree but i also say no need to buy. |
