It’s not about what they deserve; the point is that we as Americans deserve to stay true to one of
our basic self evident truths. And that is equality in the eyes of the law. |

Fairness is good. They should get such a trial, if ever they are taken. |

Yes. Everyone Regardless Of Crime. Deserves a fair trial. Not only is it in the Bill of Rights, but
it has it's roots in Habeus Corpus which is the very foundation of our leagal system. How would we
know we had the right people? Just because Bush says so? Look what trusting this administration has
lied about--lied us into a war for oil. That is a fact. |

Yes it is on the constitution and they must obey it |

All alleged criminals should get fair trials, even George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, the real
perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks.
As for the pathetic patsies they've rounded up and tortured into making some bogus confession, it is
no longer possible for them to receive a fair trial, at least in America. The kangaroo court they've
dreamed up to carry out these sinister show trials, right in time to boost the Republicans in the
upcoming election, can provide nothing but a travesty of justice.
Torture has been used to extract confessions. That "evidence" will be presented at trial. The
prisoners have been subjected to gross human rights violations, denied access to a lawyer and
subjected to fake executions. |

Everyone deserves a fair trial, it is a human right and these people are still human. Besides, you
speak like we know they are guilty before the trial, if that is true then what is the trial for?
Since we cannot be 100% these people are guilty we need a fair trial to determine this. Once that's
done then treat them like prisoners of war or something, but becoming judge, jury and executioner is
very dangerous. |

I think in the war against terrorism anything goes, these people don't think twice about killing
women and children, so for me they give up their right to be treated within the rules. |

They are not American citizens and are basically prisoners of war. They do have the right to one but
i doubt the government really cares about that and anybody who goes against the government on that
point they would be labeled as a traitor or terrorist lover. |
