Teachers Should Be Allowed To Keep A Concealed Weapon In School?
In case of hostage situations it would be useful. They would have to be ran through a background check and be trained.

They should because school is an education and the teacher take respnsibilty for the children so it should be there to keep them safe.

Not teachers necessarily but it would be nice if there were some sort of armed security in the classrooms. Ideally ity wouldn't be necessary, but this is real life we're talking about here and the so-called"gun free" zones are putting targets on unarmed students' heads by assuming that everyone is a law-abiding citizen and no outlaw would ever take advantage of the opportunity to kill unarmed people.

It is better to have one and not use it then not have one when you need one. Especially when children's lives are on the line.

I don't think that teachers need weapons. The only weapons that should be used in a classroom is homework. The negatives outweigh the positives in this situation

I don't think so because how about she or he uses it on a child to threat them or if a child is not behaving and the teacher gets out of control she or he could be fired! Or worse!!!!!

Not a question that would ever come up in any other country really ; the proliferation of weapons is never a good thing

No. What would happen if by some freak quirk, the weapon managed to injure the teacher or one of the children? Not to mention, what would happen if someone managed to get a hold of the weapon and use it against the teacher and or their students? I think its best if we leave the weapons AWAY from schools.
