Ha, ha, ha NO!. The school food is already crappy enough they should most definitely keep the snack
bar. Well, at least at my school which apparently you go to. Check your profile. |

Everyone has the right to choose what they want to eat. And i think snack bars are awesome. Its ok
as long as you have enough excercise! Its not about what you eat but how much excercise you have~ |

We don't even have an actual snack bar and school food sucks. Me and my friend found out that the
burgers bounce, the pizza drips, and the chicken can absorb a whole can of soda |

If you are saying that because you think that snack bars are the cause of people being fat, you're
stupid.
Snack bars are the person's choice, and besides, if you take away the snack bars the fat kid will
just eat everything else in abundance.
I would know... I know someone like that. -_-' |

No. I think it's a matter of personal choice. Inversely, think about the health-food nut (ahem) who
can't eat any of the cafeteria food. Is it really fair to force the food on the student? |

I agree with spongebob, the cafeteria food is already bad enough! Imagine eating that every single
day!!! At OUR school that would be horrible, (Yes i know you go to my school). |

No they shouldn't! People have a right to eat what they like and banning snackbars would be unfair.
It's our choice, so we can eat what we like! I disagree with anything that takes away people's
freedom or rights.
If people wish to eat these snacks then that's up to them. Banning snackbars won't ban snacks
altogether. They will still be sold in other places, so there is no point. If someone wishes to
visit a snackbar then that's up to them. It's their life, so leave them to it. |

There is absolutely no point in banning snack-bars, tuck shops or any other venture that sells
candies, chocolates, chips and other forms of junk food. People will find alternate ways to enjoy
these treats, even if they can no longer purchase them directly in schools, sports clubs and at
other establishments. On the other hand, a reasonable, libertarian option would be to promote
healthy eating by selling more nutritious snacks on campus at heavily discounted rates.
When I go off to the archives to engage in lengthy hours of research, I rely on the snack-bar to get
a nice caffeine boost or enjoy the benefits of an energy-lifting sugar high which, I should let you
know, is often much needed in my line of work. I realize that this is not a healthy habit, but a
quick snack and a little fast food is very convenient when time is of the essence. |

No, I support freedom, including the freedom to fail; even the freedom to fail catastrophically; to
fail all the way to a wide girth, strained heart and early death. Freedom!! Freedom!! Mars bars,
Crunchies, Aeros! Freedom! |

They should not ban any snack bar; however, they should regulate what is sold in most snack bars.
Most snack bars contain fatty foods such as candy, potato chips, pop and other unhealthy snacks.
Rarely do they have healthy snacks such as fruits, raisins, organic options, granola bars, and etc.
I would love to see healthy foods in all snack bars. (Especially snack bars that are in hospitals
and fitness clubs). Many people do not have time to stop for a full meal and they depend on the
snack bars. For this reason, all snack bars should focus on offering healthy options for these
people on the run. Many snack bars promote their unhealthy options. Most candy and potato chips are
placed up front and at eye level; and if they offer healthy snacks, they are usually in the back or
out of eye shot. They should put more healthy options up front and promote them. |

Personal choice whether you use them or not! It's a free country, if people want to use them I say
let them! At the end of the day, it's their health, no one else's! |

Why should something be banned because *YOU* have no self control? If you don't want to eat snack
bars, don't eat them. It's none of your business if someone else does. |

NO I LOVE SNACK BARS!! I am a horse back rider and i have almost no time to eat at horse shows.
Snack bars are the only thing there and everyone loves them! I do agree with the whole fating thing
hough, and the addicting thing. So they should make them healthier, but keep them. |
