I love the uniforms it saves me money plus my 8 year old son can dress himself. |

I agree with Moreno. Uniforms provide more focus, or at least less distraction. It is one less
thing children would have to deal with in their school day. Kids have changed a lot, and even
pretty young kids are conscious of their attire. When i was in grade school, a boy in the fifth
grade or below couldn't give a whit about his clothing, and now this has changed a lot. |

Yes, and I speak from personal experience. Being made fun of because I didn't have the most up to
date shoes or wearing non name brand clothes and shoes. It was a horrible experience in the land of
brand name clothing. With uniforms it takes the focus away from silly issues as not having Nike
shoes that are less than 6 months old. |

So kids aren't killed over shoes. |

Schools should definitely have uniforms. A uniform is something by which schools are differentiated
and also every school is having a unique feature in their uniform which makes them look so good.
Schools should have uniform because it is a part of the discipline that the schools must follow and
these schools should also impart the same discipline in their students. A student must be made to
realize that certain things are required in order to become well mannered and cultured. Besides
education a school must look into matters like uniform, attendance and other issues which make a
student properly understand that in order to become something good, all these matters are equally
important. With the schools having uniforms, students learn to maintain the discipline of wearing
them for a prolonged period of 12 or more years and understand its importance. Thus schools should
have uniform. |

Yes students should have uniforms because as potter said some kids are less fortunate then others
and if all the kids around you were wearing really nice clothes wouldn't the kid be embarrassed |
| |
| |
| |
I am for it because some people have more money than other people so they can get much nicer clothes
than others. And sorry boys, but I personally don't like ladies in bikinis coming to school. But
were talking about uniforms within reason, not ugly shirts, and dresses, ect. |

Yes, because if schools have uniforms, there's no way anyone can dress inappropriately. |
| |
| |

No they shouldn't. By allowing kids to wear what they want, you are allowing them to express
themselves and their personal style. You shouldn't take that away from them |
| |
| |
| |
A dress code is nice, so butt cracks and belly buttons aren't hangin' out, but it's good for a child
to have choices in what he wears. |
| |
| |
| |
Teachers never wear their uniforms so why should we have to wear a uniform? Why should we have to go
shopping? Why should we have to wear a white shirt with black tight pants. |
| |
| |
| |
Where's the individualism? Students deserve to be able to express themselves. |
| |
| |
| |

I totally don't agree because we should be able to express ourself. |
| |
| |
| |
I think not. Allowing the kids to choose what they wear provides a way to express themselves. |
| |

It is guaranteed under the charter that we are allowed the freedom to live, prosper and be creative.
By enforcing a dress code it is squashing everything that the charter stands for while also
destroying a chance for growing teenagers to express who they are and what they are about |
| |
| |

I go to a school that currently uses uniforms, and even though they aren't that bad, mostly work
shirts and rugby shirts, i still feel people should have the option of freedom of expression.
Granted there still should be a dress-code, i don't need to see the ass crack every teenage boy out
there. Free to choose for ourselves, just within reason |
| |
| |
| |
No, No, And A Big NO. First, it squashes a student's creativity. People feel good being able to
express their individuality through their unique styles.
The are many schools with no uniform that still strongly enforce staying in dress code.
Discipline and Importance? That's a laugh. You'd see a kid wearing Hollister and say that would
distract him and make him petty/trivial being so caught up in what he's wearing. Funny |
| |
| |
| |
People should be able to express themselves
whatever way the want. |
| |
| |
| |
I don't like it because of a lot of reasons |
