Who is Mendelsohn? (Wasn't he an architect- died 50yrs ago?) Or do you mean Mendelssohn the composer who died 160 years ago? Or do you mean Peter Mandelson the European Commissioner and former Cabinet Minister?
Whoever you are referring to, which donations scandal did they allegedly play a part in?
Definitely, he must have known what was going on, so he must go!
Personally I find it impossible to believe that people would donate these kind of sums to a
political party without expecting something back in return.
The way we fund political parties in this country is rotten to the core!
