People should only have 3 tries because the first time it might be an accident by the 3 time you
know its on purpose. |

100% stupid. As someone said earlier, if you kill two persons, you're okay but if , afterwards, you
steal a bag of chips (third offence) Ah! Ah! You go to jail ! |

I don't agree. Whilst I don't agree with violence, I think it is ridiculous to send someone to jail
for hitting someone three times. What happens if both parties have been equally violent towards each
other? Should they both be put away? There are far worse crimes out there. |

Bug, So what you are saying is I could kill 2 people unpunished, but the third one I would go to
jail. I am sure criminals would love that. |

This is a ridiculous and abhorrent scheme .. It goes against any form of justice or reasonable
manner of dealing with people who have made mistakes or criminal act as it takes no account of
circumstances, reasoning or extenuating situations that may have occurred, it is reminiscent of
draconian laws that would condemn people to life for stealing some bread ..
It doesn't actually tackle the issue or give any solution..
It goes against any common decency or civilised notion of what is fair or just .. And anyone that
can advocate this as an option must surely be a brutal ignorant evil thug..
I'll be a no then .. |

There are certain crimes that, if committed, are so heinous that removal from society is the only
reasonable course of action in this society.
If someone honestly can't determine the consequences of their actions, then that person is also very
dangerous to everyone around them. |

You failed to specify to what extent your favored “law” applies. When concerning minor
misdemeanors I would probably agree, but for the majority of crimes committed in today’s times, I
will have to seriously disagree with your method. |
