of them. In comparison to situation where they come from, usa's situation is much better in terms

Yes! As a resident of a border state with a large entry port, NY, I believe that illegal immigrant
swill only be solved with the cooperation of the illegals. To be issued a driver license you must
take both a written test and a practical driving test and pass both. To get your license you must
come to a state Dept. Of Motor Vehicle office and apply,have residence,and identification. Illegals
are going to drive regardless of whether they have licenses or not. The NYS driver's license is a
secure identification document and the system is already in place to investigate validity of
submitted documentation. The debate begs the question of "What happens if an illegal is stopped
without a valid driver license?" The political candidate who are touting the conservative position
on the overall problem of illegal immigration say, "The first thing I will do is to round up the two
million illegals and send them back". If we are capability of "finding them and rounding them up";
why are they here NOW? |
