Illegal Aliens Should Be Permitted To Work In The USA
Today, there are thousands of illegal aliens from many parts of the world working in the USA. They do not have proper documentation to work in the states, but all they are doing is earning money to support their families. Should they be allowed to work without proper documentation?

As I'm British, my opinion may be kind of irrelevant. However, I believe immigrants should be allowed to work, even illegal ones. They produce the same benefits to the country as a born American. If they got the job before someone else, that's just life. The situation might be different in places with a high unemployment rate, but otherwise I strongly believe they should be allowed to work.

Wow you complain that immigrants are taking jobs but that is false..immigrants take jobs that Americans don't want and they get under paid almost all the time..

I really wish you people who make statement like that would get educated....In San Francisco, near where I live. the illegal aliens take low paying jobs like carpenters..$33 an hour, glaziers $34 hr...electricians $45...pipe fitters $40 hr....elevator workers @$60hr...which of these jobs or pay would you call low or unwanted and that's just a small list, there's alot more. Then they take the money and go back to Mexico or whereever and live rich, depleteing our economy.....please educate yourself.

In many U.S. States, especially in the West, economies would collapse without the contributions of illegal workers. They are here to stay, and will continue to work, like it or not.
Yes, illegals are technically “criminals,” but let’s face it, the problem is one of supply and demand.
How many picky, superior white boys are willing to swing a hammer for 10 hours in the hot sun for $10/hour or prissy white girls to stand up behind a McDonald’s counter all day for $8/hour?
These jobs exist and must be filled. I say, all power to immigrants who see these needs and fill them.
America was built on the labor of immigrants, many of them illegal. Mexicans are the modern equivalent of the early-20th century Irish, Italians, Jews, and Germans. Those nationals all became middle class and now running this country, and Hispanics are now making economic and social strides.

Well perhaps if they left those white boys would get off their little lazy behinds and work. The jobs were being done before we were swamped with immigrants and would be done now. When the Irish and the rest came the world was different they just got on a boat went through the paperwork and worked. LEGALLY, the hispanics are not doing that they are working for cheap wages so that the rest of us have to do the same. Its not about Mcdonalds or wages its about being legal and not ripping off the legal citizens in this country.

According to my point of view these illegal aliens should be encouraged to stay and work for U.S. Let me submit my view in a broader aspect. These aliens are working for U.S which means they are just giving the support to the economy of the country. Whether be it a manufacturing or service industry, they are giving their full effort. On the other hand they are just having their livelihood. This is a clear business and nothing else. U.S. Government is having the benefit as well with the increasing number of employees who came to the country only to purchase a better life on exchange of their sweat and exhaustion although they do not possess the proper documents needed to stay in U.S. It is not that much easy to get the immigration in a very well organized manner. It needs lots of paper works to be done.

They are SUPPORTING the economy by being part of the working force, in both the manufacturing AND service industries. They're not criminals...they're just trying to make a living in a country they only came to to seek a better life.

And believe me when I say it's not that easy to come into the country legally. I am an immigrant, and I understand the pains my parents went through to get us here...miles of paperwork and red-tape had to be cleared. For someone that's living in a situation that's potentially fatal to their family because the standard of living is so low and the job market is extremely difficult to get into, then it is RATIONAL for them to seek refuge in another country, albeit illegally, simply to save the lives of one's family.

Illegal aliens already in the US should be allowed to stay and take on work, but government authorities must eventually legalize their status. There are nearly 12 million illegal immigrants currently in the US and by taking on low paying jobs that otherwise would not be filled, they help fuel the American economy. Due to their large numbers, it is unrealistic (and entirely inhumane) to simply deport them.

Yet illegal aliens must eventually be registered and turned into landed immigrants, with the possibility of obtaining full citizenship. This is the only way to actually guarantee that these new arrivals end up paying US taxes and that they are given the same rights and obligations as all other citizens. Once this has been accomplished, the US should devise a way to more effectively patrol the Mexican border, in order to halt the arrival of future illegal aliens.

I think that illegal aliens should be permitted to work in the United States as long as they are not committing any crime. They are like every US citizen. They want to get up every day and go to work to support their families. They usually work the jobs that US citizens do not want. So, I think that they should be allowed to work like a normal person. Above all, the taxes they pay from their hard work goes to the US government to help fund the US citizens who are on welfare and don't want to work!

Just being here is committing a crime, therefore there isn't a single illegal alien in the United States who isn't likewise a criminal.

They are taking jobs that a real American could have.
Send them back where they came from and let them come in the right way.

Why make laws to protect American interest if they can just be ignored with impunity? American citizens already suffer too many repercussions while our tax dollars are doled out to other countries and special interest groups .

They need to just not come here if they don't do it right. Most of them are good people but a lot of them are still running drugs or harming others here in many ways, our jobs, our lifestyle, housing, communities, our children. Not to mention the fact that slimeball employers hire them for cheap wages and allow citizens to go without. No they need to all leave which ever way we can get them out.

once again it is the fault of the government for not reprehending the employers who employ illegal immigrants.

the immigrants are just trying to survive, the employers are just trying to get rich at the expense of the illegal immigrants. and the government allows it to happen. I don't know why. Does anyone know?

No they shouldn't! I am all for hard working people trying to better their lives, but don't do it at the expense of everyone else. They suck tax dollars out of the government and the cut in line in front of the "LEGAL" immigrants that go through the proper channels to come here LEGALLY. The problem is with their country of origin so don't blame it on the US! Corrupt governments in Mexico and other nations are the real villains!

true that the corrupt governments in other nations are the real villans for not providing for their citizens the conditions for a healthy economy to develop.

BUT, but but but, the only reason why we have mexicans working in the fields here in america is because the government does not take any measures against the rich white farmer who hires them. Because the rich white guy gets richer by exploiting the poor brown people,

because slavery is no longer legal against the darker people, they found a lighter brown colored people to take advantage of.

that is the law of capitalism, to exploit the poor and uneducated . And these are the social dynamics of this issue.

So let them illegally work here, live here and not pay taxes, but when they retire we'll pay them SSI. If they want to have the benefits of being an American citizen then they should do it legally.
