As I'm British, my opinion may be kind of irrelevant. However, I believe immigrants should be
allowed to work, even illegal ones. They produce the same benefits to the country as a born
American. If they got the job before someone else, that's just life. The situation might be
different in places with a high unemployment rate, but otherwise I strongly believe they should be
allowed to work. |

better opportunities besides the US did take their land or won it they should have some right to
work here and hey as taxes go we are just paying for those who don't want to work so what' the deal! |

In many U.S. States, especially in the West, economies would collapse without the contributions of
illegal workers. They are here to stay, and will continue to work, like it or not.
Yes, illegals are technically “criminals,” but let’s face it, the problem is one of supply and
demand.
How many picky, superior white boys are willing to swing a hammer for 10 hours in the hot sun for
$10/hour or prissy white girls to stand up behind a McDonald’s counter all day for $8/hour?
These jobs exist and must be filled. I say, all power to immigrants who see these needs and fill
them.
America was built on the labor of immigrants, many of them illegal. Mexicans are the modern
equivalent of the early-20th century Irish, Italians, Jews, and Germans. Those nationals all became
middle class and now running this country, and Hispanics are now making economic and social strides. |

Yes! They should, i think we forgot how much money our economy lost that day all illegals did not
work and yes most of them where Mexican peep's , and your average American will not do the work they
do day in and day out. |

According to my point of view these illegal aliens should be encouraged to stay and work for U.S.
Let me submit my view in a broader aspect. These aliens are working for U.S which means they are
just giving the support to the economy of the country. Whether be it a manufacturing or service
industry, they are giving their full effort. On the other hand they are just having their
livelihood. This is a clear business and nothing else. U.S. Government is having the benefit as well
with the increasing number of employees who came to the country only to purchase a better life on
exchange of their sweat and exhaustion although they do not possess the proper documents needed to
stay in U.S. It is not that much easy to get the immigration in a very well organized manner. It
needs lots of paper works to be done. |

They are SUPPORTING the economy by being part of the working force, in both the manufacturing AND
service industries. They're not criminals...they're just trying to make a living in a country they
only came to to seek a better life.
And believe me when I say it's not that easy to come into the country legally. I am an immigrant,
and I understand the pains my parents went through to get us here...miles of paperwork and red-tape
had to be cleared. For someone that's living in a situation that's potentially fatal to their family
because the standard of living is so low and the job market is extremely difficult to get into, then
it is RATIONAL for them to seek refuge in another country, albeit illegally, simply to save the
lives of one's family. |

Illegal aliens already in the US should be allowed to stay and take on work, but government
authorities must eventually legalize their status. There are nearly 12 million illegal immigrants
currently in the US and by taking on low paying jobs that otherwise would not be filled, they help
fuel the American economy. Due to their large numbers, it is unrealistic (and entirely inhumane) to
simply deport them.
Yet illegal aliens must eventually be registered and turned into landed immigrants, with the
possibility of obtaining full citizenship. This is the only way to actually guarantee that these new
arrivals end up paying US taxes and that they are given the same rights and obligations as all other
citizens. Once this has been accomplished, the US should devise a way to more effectively patrol the
Mexican border, in order to halt the arrival of future illegal aliens. |

I think that illegal aliens should be permitted to work in the United States as long as they are not
committing any crime. They are like every US citizen. They want to get up every day and go to work
to support their families. They usually work the jobs that US citizens do not want. So, I think that
they should be allowed to work like a normal person. Above all, the taxes they pay from their hard
work goes to the US government to help fund the US citizens who are on welfare and don't want to
work! |
