wrong to disagree against one and not the other, because you feel that you can wack a load to one
and not the other.

That's ridiculous. Why would you want to eliminate something like that? That's like trying to
eliminate red hair or blue eyes.
Just leave people alone already. Sexual orientation doesn't harm anyone. You want to eliminate
something, eliminate birth defects. |

I think homosexuality cant be changed in the brain because homosexuality is a lie. Men were never
meant to have "relations" with other men, there is no scientific, natural, or fundamental reasoning
behind homosexuality. Homosexuality is purely a lie to yourself.
Now men and women alike might have hormone imbalances, which might cause them to be inclined to act
more like the opposite sex, but this doesn't mean they are gay. I believe that homosexuality is
influenced by the parents and society of a "confused individual". What if you felt more comfortable
around the opposite sex than you do around friends of the same sex. And your parents totally
encouraged you and told you that you were gay. Or if a confused young man didn't have a stable
father figure in his life don't you think that this could affect things, he could eventually be
drawn to the opposite sex wanting the stable figure he never had in his life. |

No, if homosexuality is ever proven to be genetic you might have Christians do an about turn on
abortion laws and attempt to have "Gay Foetuses" aborted before birth. Or would they value the life
of homosexuals despite it being sinful? Quite the conundrum. |

I don't think the solution will be found through genetic elimination. I believe that this problem
isn't just genetic- its a mindset, we are constantly exposed to this "lifestyle" through movies and
other media. We should make efforts to fight it with truth- and not just science. Genetically
eliminating people seems like a solution Hitler favored. |

Efforts to eliminate someone’s freedom of choice when concerning sexuality with other people? This
sounds like a bad case of discrimination and prejudice to me. I'd be surprised if this effort even
comes close to succeeding. If this is an action some people feel should be taken, why not also
attempt to genetically eliminate people with darker skin (no racism intended)? This approach seems
just as discriminatory as the one mentioned within this debate’s heading. |
