Agree; no more animals testing |

Hey! That's a REALLY good idea! |

True, I support the Death Penalty and yes, it may seem odd to favour animals lives above humans.
I do believe they should be given the choice to participate before the execution. It offers them a
chance for 'forgiveness' if they have religious beliefs. Plus, you said 'medical', if it helps us to
further medicine and life saving drugs then I believe it would be for the good of society to allow
these people who have effectively 'thrown their human rights away with the persons rights they took
(murder)' to ease their own pains and/or the pains of others in need.
If you had said 'research' as a general term, I would have said no on the grounds that you may have
included cosmetics or other rubbish. |

HEck yes i agree
How much closer can we get . Why should we Hurt animals if the people are gonna die anyway; |
| |
| |
| |
I personally think the death penalty is morally wrong (killing someone to teach them not to kill
someone??) but I think that if they agree to it we should potentially save innocent animal's lives. |
| |
| |
| |
If they are going to die anyway they might as well help other people survive. Also many f them
aren't killed for years it must be torture |
| |
| |
| |
Yes i do...should they not at least be used for something, they certainly weren't a productive
member of society. The guilty and remorseful ones could possibly feel better that way, like a way to
redeem themselves.
I also think that there organs should belong to that of the government, if little suzie needs a
kidney and the serial killer rapist has the same blood type...i think suzies life became a priority
when the inmate landed himself on death row. |
| |
| |
| |
I think they should be given the option at least, I don't think it should be done to them without
their consent. If given a choice between the death penalty and being used in experiments and being
kept alive longer, some may actually take the chance. |

As much as these people deserve to lose their rights, they still supercede animals, which have ZERO
rights. A convict loses his/her rights, that's obvious, their crime is acceptance of the outcome,
but they still overrule animals, who have NO rights within the human courts. |
| |
| |
| |
That's an aweful idea! What if they were innocent! |
| |
| |
| |
No, but I think we should ask if prisoners would like to participate in studies for an extra pack
of cigarettes or TV privileges. |
| |
| |
| |
Have you never heard of the laws against cruel and unusual punishment? Then what of people who are
on death row and are later found to be innocent. How do we reverse the experiments that were
performed on them? |
| |
| |
| |
I don't think either one should be used for experimenting, if you look at what doctors have
accomplished through these experiments, next to nothing. We still have cancer, HIV, polio, MS. Lou
Ghregs, small pox is coming back, this list is just to start. The people who heal are the ones who
don't believe the doctors and fight for themselves, I know. Animal experimentation only allows drugs
companies to put their money making drugs on the market. You got kind of a mean streak don't ya. |
| |
| |
| |
This is a horrific view. Never mind animal rights, this is a basic human rights violation. |
| |
| |
| |
They have feelings too you know!!!! |
| |
| |
| |
Using humans to do HORRIBLE, and INHUMANE tests is JUST as wrong as using animals! And even if they
VOLUNTEERED.. Its' STILL suicide!
No. Definitely NOT. |
| |
| |
| |
If we treat people like animals they will behave so. This is a disgusting debate, I cannot believe
people would even contemplate experimenting on human beings. |
| |
| |
| |
They most definitely should not be. Even though I do agree with the death penalty(sometimes not)
they are human. Just because they murdered someone that does not make them anyless human. If this
were to be made legal then it wouldn't make you any better then the criminals.
Ghandi said it best: "An eye for an eye will leave the world blind." |
| |
| |
| |
Using humans (even condemned ones) for medical experiments will just prolong their suffering, will
give them a chance to hurt more people (like the researchers) and give them more chances of escape.
I would prefer to "stop" them now rather than to give them more time to think of some escape plans. |
