I think that'll be a great idea. I already planned to have a complete screening before having sex.
In a way it shows your commitment towards the relationship. |

It is a must thing for couples to have an HIV test before involving into sex. It is a very relevant
issue nowadays since HIV has affecting our world so largely. Today there are so many people
suffering form these deadly diseases and there are also many people who unknowingly carry this
disease in their body. In today’s world you never know how and when this disease came and affected
you, and unknowingly if you involve in sex with your partner then he or she may also get affected to
this deadly disease. Therefore it is a very much advised matter that every couple should never
hesitate to have an HIV test or check up before having a sexual encounter with each other so that in
later future they remain physically safe and can enjoy a very happy and pleasant sexual life. |

Everyone should have HIV tests its becoming as common as the cold so that alone should make people
want to get one and keep updates on them |

Yes,I think that would be really really good. |

If they've been sexually active prior, absolutely. That's just common sense. You'd have to be a
complete idiot not to insist the person you're thinking about being with isn't carrying a terminal
disease that they can pass on to you. |

Wait... I thought sex WAS the HIV test... If you get HIV after sex, then the other person had it... |

People should be getting HIV tests annually, not just when they `THINK' they might get some. Cause a
lot of people have one night stands. |

When most couples first have sex it's a delicate and spontaneous emotional moment. It's not
something planned in advance like a corporate project. In most cases, getting an HIV test is not
simple. You have to make an appointment with the testing facility then wait to hear about the
results. Very few couples are as ruthlessly unemotional about their first sexual encounter as they
would have to be to get HIV tests done in advance. So this may be a worthy suggestion but it's not
really practical. |
