Are you implying that most of the population of France suffers from /FAS? Maybe. But what about the Italians? People like the Italians.

And were Tabitha Stevens witch powers due to those martinis Samantha Stevens drank every afternoon while 9 months along on the old TV show "Bewitched"?

I agree that a pregnant woman should not drink (alcohol). Most of these posts are actually on the wrong side compared to the statements they contain. Anybody who thinks a pregnant woman should drink is probably a victim of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS).

If a woman should have the "right to choose" if a fetus lives or dies, than nobody better say a thing about her "right to choose" to have a cocktail or two.

I am against pregnant drinkers. I believe selfishness is on the same level as parents who use children as emotional weapons in their broken relationship. You know who they are. Their children are never with them because they are in crowded daycare because mommy needed some"me" time after the fight with daddy & went to the bar.

Well the body does not directly put alcohol inside the baby. The body filters out what is bad and gives the baby only that which is necessary. If that is the case the mother shouldn't eat, or drink anything. Or take any medications.

All foods and beverages have bactera of somekind on it. And you can get a lot of bacteria or virus just from shaking someones hand.

The body's job is to filter all dangerous substances that threatens the baby's survival. If it doesn't, then the body has a problem and needs help.

No a pregnant women shouldn't drink, and if they feel the need to then they don't deserve a child.

Alcohol is clinically proven to harm developing babies.

And the difference between drinking and abortion is the drinking might make that child suffer unnecessarily for the next 80 years of the life to follow, whereas the abortion ends their suffering now.

No.

It is irresponsible, and inconsiderate: It causes Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and everyone knows this.
What is to debate?
