This is a hard topic to discuss. It is hard because there are so many variables. The main reason it
is hard to discuss is because it depends on who this president is. I very strongly agree that an
African-American should have the same chance of being a president as anyone else. However, it
depends on who he or she is. If they are not a good person, then i will not vote for them. Now this
can go with any president, no matter the gender, or race. Because I am not against having a woman
president, but I just don't like Hillary. |

That is good but not obama. I think there should be a woman president that was brought up in a house
with all guys but still has femininity and is 1/3 white 1/3 black and 1/3 hispanic. |

It really does not matter which race becomes President, but America is surely not ready for a racist
Muslim to be in office. As long as the candidate is better than Obama or Bush, then their race
should not matter. Once Obama gets into the presidency, America will experience first hand what true
racism is really like. I really do not think that Muslims should be allowed to run for
president...especially with the war. However, many Americans cannot see that for some reason. I
never understood why Americans would want to go from bad to worse with Obama. But as usual,
Americans cannot be told anything. They have to learn the hard way. This is what happened with Bush.
They did not pay attention to the writing on the wall and look at the condition of the US today?
Americans need to learn to make a more educated guess when choosing a president. Obama will destroy
America. |

I really don't give a crap about race or gender or any of that trivial nonsense. If the black dude
is up for the job and I like him (I don't like Obama, by the way), it's fine. |

As long as the person can do the job, and do it well, nothing else need be considered. |

As long as a person is suitable for the job they should get it, whether or not they get the job
shouldn't be based on something as trivial as skin colour. |

I want to live long enough to see the first black, female, gay, Jewish/atheist president. I want to
remember the collapse of the American presidential dogma. |

It shouldn't be a question of color but a question of talent and brains. A leader should be able to
lead. That's should be the only requirement |

I guess you are referring to Obama?
Well, I believe that anyone has the right to be a President. As long as they can do this job fairly,
honestly. |

It isn't enough to make me vote for someone, but if it happened, it would be good for the country. |

I don't want a Black, White, Yellow, or Brown president. What I want is an American! An American
patriot who believes in the fullness of the Constitution and The Bill of Rights. An American who
puts America first. A true patriot who is not afraid to tell the UN, NATO, WTO, and CoFR to go to
hell! A patriots skin color does not matter to me. Come to think of it...we haven't had an
American president in a very long time. |

I'm not racists, and I believe African Americans are just as equal as everyone else. I would be find
with having a black president, but I don't believe we should have one. What difference does it make
if hes back or white if he is a good president? |
