I do not see why a certain minority should be able to get a different law system to the rest of the
country. If they are not satisfied with what one says, won't some go to the other? It's not right
for only some people to have different laws than others. And we're not just a muslim country, in
fact no where near. We're mostly Christian, atheist or agnostic. Civil cases are not so bad, but if
Sharia law includes criminal cases, things will probably get nasty and there will most likely be
some sort of uprising against the govt. |

Yes and no; Sharia law is already being used for Islamics for divorce, just like the divorce law for
catholics is used. But i think Sharia law will never become part of are legal system more than i
have just said. The islamics of Britian seem to want more of there Shaira law put into the system
which will never happen. I do agree with you that the Islamics in a sence "getting their way" will
cause blood to be spilled, as Enoch Powell predicted in his rivers of blood speech, that migrants
coming into the country will anger people, but when the time comes that they become part of the
system that controls us then the rivers of blood will flow. We can already see the evidence in the
anger and prejudice being shown by the Anglo-Saxon whites (in a sense "true British"), the BNP a
Anglo for an Anglo party is gaining power fast, the amount of votes being cast has Sharp risen in
the past few years, compered to what they used to get. |

Although you're right it will probably never be part of the main UK court system and trying to make
it so would be met with stiff resistance the truth is the more religious communities could and would
impose it among their followers even if that action was illegal. All it takes to impose a "law" is
a network ready to enforce consequences for breaking that law and the Muslim world has already shown
worldwide they're willing to go that extra mile even if it means repression or death to the
violators. |

Actually it already is being used in civil cases in certain courts earlier this year. The government
has very quietly sanctioned Sharia Law in cases such as divorce and financial cases, even all the
way up to domestic violence. They have full power within the judicial system through the county and
high courts.
However are legal systems in terms of criminal law are too different so I doubt it will set a
precedent ever in our legal system. Also what we find socially acceptable is different to what we do
and what we say will always overall what they say. The European Court of Justice and on Human Rights
would never allow for full blown Sharia Law in this country or any other European country, Can I
just point out you've put this under sport, think you've made a mistake. |
