It's certainly difficult to teach two different grades simultaneously, but in the grades in which it
actually occurs, it doesn't have a great effect on school overall. I was in splits all through
elementary school, and I didn't really have any learning gaps.
Ideally, though, there should be no need for them, but governments prefer shortcuts to actually
solving problems, thus incurring debt, requiring them to make cuts. |
