One of my kids was in year-round school and all of us loved it. |

Summer break is too long in the US. By the end of the third week most kids are out of their minds
with boredom, and over that period of time you forget EVERYTHING you learned earlier and have to
waste weeks on the school year in review.
Of course, the amount of time spent in school shouldn't increase too much. But maybe having every
other Wednesday off, and a shorter summer break, would really help a lot of kids who get stressed
out by a solid week of school (idk about everyone else, but imxp kids are always tired and
distracted by the end of the school week, and wouldn't mind a day off in the middle)
More total time should be spent in school, of course, but mainly schools need to be run more
efficiently, and I think that a year round school schedule is the most efficient yet. |

I definitely believe that school should be year round, especially in the United States. Today,
students need more help than ever. Most of them are not as bright as students ten or twenty years
ago were. Students today do more bad things such as crimes, teen pregnancy and other things. If they
went to school year round, they would have less time to do these bad things. They don't study much
when they are in school for nine months and they complain that it is too hard. Well, having school
twelve months of the year will give them more time to work on these "hard" concepts. No job gives
you three months off, so why should school give students three months off? |

School in most places is year-round these days and I think it works much better than taking 3 months
off in the summer. I wish I had gone to year-round school back when I went to school. |

Kids need a break. |

Better a big break than little gasps of air in between the suffering. I exaggerate a little. |

Families need time together. I know they could take them out of school, to go on holiday but then
they would miss the lessons. I do think the holidays are too long though. |

Now I'm gonna guess that everyone on the for side is over the high school age, because
nobody on the for side has any clue what things are like after just 10 months. |

In the UK we only get 5-6 weeks in the summer, personally more would be better.
N.B Since when does dumb have a capital B? Wouldn't it be D? |

If you made school year round every one would bunk off and it would cost the state millions moor for
schooling staff school buses and lunches. Also children would just stop wanting to learn every one
get a break. And so should children AND tutors. |
