It was, no one expected the twist. I love all the Saw movies, but ever since number 1, everyone knows theres going to be a twist in all the rest.

The original Saw is the best but it's because the plot was fresh and surprising. All the Saws that followed became cartoonish in comparison.

I kind of wish there wasn't even a Saw series. I have a huge issue with simply throwing up gore for the hell of it. Perhaps Saw One was decent because of a good plot that called for gore, but from what I've seen of a few of the Saw movies, I could have gone my entire life without watching any.

Now I'm not a huge fan of gore, but movies like Seven, that had a decent amount of gore, did it well with a strong storyline. I can't see any of the Saw movies matching Seven though.
