Religious Stupidity Shouldn't Be Allowed To Block The Teaching Of Fair And Comprehensive Sex Education.
The religious morons are complaining about how damaging sex eudaction is. And they're even more angry that gay safe sex education will taught as well in compliance with equality laws and as a way of tackling homophobia. Religious idiots in this country would rather kids and teens have no knowledge of safe sex than have them fall out of line with their story book.

Kids need a firm grasp of how the reproductive system works and how to prevent diseases and illness. I don't think they need to bring morality into it. Doctors and medical prefessionals use barrier methods to prefent the spread of illnesses when handling body fluids. Why would explaining this is also done during sex to prevent the spread of disease be a moral thing?

School is for facts. Any ethical connotations are for the parents to supply. If you really don’t want your children to learn facts then you can pull them out and brainwash, I mean home school them in the privacy of your own domestic setting.

Aside from the fact that all religion is stupid, in places where kids have comprehensive sex education, the rates of teen pregnancy and STD transmission are low. In places where kids have no sex education, the rates of teen pregnancy and STD transmission are high. There's no arguing the correlation.

There's only no arguing because morons like you honestly believe that sex ed has an effect on kids who are bound and determined to do whatever they want.

Religion shouldn't be allowed to get in the way of anything that makes sense. Infact religion shouldn't ever be part of decision making at all.

Religion should never be allowed to get in the way of reality. The schools have a responsibility to teach facts, not be sensitive to people's fantasies. Whether these people like it or not, their beliefs are not credible or supported by evidence and therefore, those things that are credible and supported by evidence win out. Education has a responsibility to society much more than it does to the individual.

Sometimes the religious are morons. I guess sometimes everyone is a moron.

They forbid the teachings of safe sex. Then when a young girl is impregnated due to ignorance of how she and her partner could have prevented it, they forbid abortion.

It's not their fault. It's "god's" fault.

Safe sex is abstinence, which is what should be taught. The longer people are able to be children at school the better. That has begger all to do with religion Kddan.

So religion should interfere in the public sphere? This is once again a place where religion has no place to be and should keep out.
And I'm sorry but every survey and study shows that teaching abstinence doesn't work. In such a scenario with no knowledge of the safe sex options on offer the rate of pregnancies and STIs amoungst the young go up. Human beings are sexual creatures and we need to teach people facts and how to keep themselves safe.

Schools should teach children abstinence, and the media should reinforce the message. The notion that "They're going to do it anyway, so you might as well teach them how" is a passive approach to the issue. Teaching them that it's okay to have casual sex as long as you have protection is wrong.

Huh, abstinence? Isn't that what Palin taught her daughter? You know, the teenage mother.

I fail to see the point of teaching kids sex ed; they're just going to end up going out and have unprotected sex anyway and concince themselves that the pull out "method" and other such idiotic things actually work.

So you're saying religion should be able to interfere with logical education and that despite all the research to the contrary you're saying that sex education is a inaffective? Well in areas with sex education rates of STIs and teen pregnancy are lower than areas without such education policies being in practice. It seems to go against your world view.
