| To Live A Peaceful Nice Life, You Need Religion |
| To live a peaceful nice life ,do you need religion? |

For some people.
I would vote yes, for some people.
There is a vast variety of people though....... |

Religion may make the lives of some a little more peaceful but for the majority it brings war,
endless conflicts, and deceptive hopes. Of all the things religion may bring in ones life, peace is
not a common one. I believe in order to live a peaceful nice life you need not religion, but some
form of spirituality, acceptance of existing reality, and a righteous set of values and morals.
Where's my proof, just ask the millions of people who live around you who have rejected most
religion and substituted their own form of spirituality. If you seek peace don't seek religion,
it's unfortunately the result of infinite encounters of belligerence that have occurred throughout
history. |

Wow, how did you come up with that claim? I'll sidestep bashing religion for a minute since plenty
others will cover that angle.... Let me ask you this: Do wild animals need religion in order to live
a peaceful life? (NO.) Do small children who have not yet been indoctrinated into religion have a
lack of peace in their lives? (NO.) Do atheists have a documented history of being angry tormented
souls? (NO, there's never been a shred of evidence of that). |

The Human Race is a very fragile race, it needs to think it belongs to something, that there is a
purpose to everything in life otherwise what's the point to life itself, hence Religion.
But you don't need religion to have a good and peaceful life, religion is more a guide line to how
you should life a good and happy life, you as a individual make your own peace in life by how you
life, knowing what is right and what is wrong, what the best way to live and how you treat your
family, friends, your neighbours and the rest of the human race. |

I've never had a nicer, happier, more peaceful life than I do now that I've rejected religion in all
it's forms and simply accept reality. If you want to prove this particular question wrong, just
read the Bible, God is responsible, either directly or people acted in his name, for millions upon
millions of deaths.
Peaceful? Hardly. |

I live a nice peaceful life without religion. I had proved this to be incorrect, alongside millions
of others. |

If someone thinks he is religious yet does not bridle his tongue, and so deceives his heart, his
religion is futile.
Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: To care for orphans and widows in their
misfortune and to keep oneself unstained by the world. James 1:26-27
Does this sound peaceful? Not necessarily. To live a religious life according scripture requires
selfless service to your fellow man. This, at times, can be very stressful. However, it has its
rewards of great value. Caring for others takes action, because you are looking out for the
interests of others. Living a "peaceful nice life" requires that you try and help others achieve
such a life and that in itself can be chaotic. But like I said, the reward for doing so is far
greater than the stresses endured.
See what I am saying? I believe it all comes down to a balanced life. I have religion, but does
that guarantee me a "peaceful" existence with no trials or troubles? I can tell you from
experience...NO WAY! I can't speak for you as far as needing "religion", but I need it. Elohim 's
peace is the peace I require to live a "nice" life. |

Just the opposite. I lead a nice, peaceful life so far untouched by the poison of any religion. |
