Not when it seeks to grab power and money, it isn't.
But when it comes to intellectual pursuits, it is. It presumes to already have the answers instead
presuming none and looking for the real answers. |

I somewhat agree. Churches have turned into business and are only out to make money. |

I'd say intellectually lazy. It's much easier to invoke a magical explanation for something than it
is to come up with the real explanation.
Discovering how things really work actually involves thinking and discovery and investigation,
things that are far too much work for a lot of people. |

I suppose I partially agree. I really see no need to assert supernatural explanations for phenomenon
already known to be natural. However, I can see why some people would give things we do not yet
understand supernatural explanations. |

I don't really see how? |

Atheism is lazy. You can just do anything you want because your brain is just electrified glop and
morality is individual and subjective. |

You have no backing for your argument. Christians only use the "God did it" argument for creation.
Do you think we blame Him for all that global warming stuff(if it is even real)? Religious people
work so much harder than atheists. Atheists just sit there and say there is no god and try to keep
the truth from reaching their ears. Religious people try to find answers through their historical
documents like the Bible, Koran, etc. And if you didn't know it, there are a ton of Christian,
Hindu, and Buddhist scientists(and whatever other religion you want to throw in there). |

In some way I agree, but on the whole I think the religious life is quite difficult. No way would I
choose Christianity, if I were to make up my own God and religion--I'd make it a lot more user
friendly.
Christianity loves disciplines of the mind and body and spirit, these are not lazy-man tasks.
Christianity loves reason, logic and rationality--all are painstaking and not easy. |

Science wants to explain HOW God did it, religious or spiritual people may not care how He did it.
That doesn't make them lazy, just not interested in explanations. |
