Statistics says the final word and in the case of world’s one of the famous football clubs, Real
Madrid, statistics says it all. There is no doubt that this club is the best ever performer
throughout the numerous years and is still going on with its gigantic performances and eminence.
Compare to the other renowned clubs of this world, Real’s records are quite envious. The most
important scales of performance are the league and the Champion’s league. Real has proved its
class and distinction in both the fields. It has won the highest numbers of Champion’s league
titles (9 times) where the other renowned clubs like Liverpool, AC Milan, Manchester United etc are
far behind in the race. Real has won a record breaking 30 times Spanish League titles and therefore
no doubt should be there to take it as the best football club of the world. |

Not anymore. Historically perhaps. Their recent record in Europe is very poor.
Anyway ,to borrow some baiblebasher logic Southampton are by far the greatest team the world has
ever seen. It is in the song, that is fact. |

Real Madrid, Los Blancos or Los Merengues was a best team but it is not the best at the moment. Some
says that Arsenal is the best football club in the world because of its performance. If you talk
about world teams then Brazil, France and Italy are very best teams. Real Madrid was awarded by FIFA
as the Best Club of the 20th Century and won La Liga titles for thirty times and Copa del Rey for
seventeen times. But now the team is not in the winning form so you can’t say it is the best team. |

No, Real Madrid are not the best team in the world because:
1) All the superstars they have in their team, play for their own reputation but not for the
team.
2) They are more into marketing themselves, rather than playing football.
3) They don't present a stable coaching position.
4) The European Championship, which they once used to dominate, is now highly elusive for them.
5) They were deprived of the La Liga title which they were once king of.
6) They once decided to drop David Beckham forever, only to bring him back later that season to help
the team earn some respectability that season.
7) They are lavish money spenders in the transfer market but have failed to buy a player who has
proved his worth.
These are just some points which show that Real Madrid is not the best team in the world. |

It's not right because the thing which makes a team "the best team" is the performance, not the
individuals. Therefore the performance of individuals is not a scale for team performance. If the
performance of any team is good overall, then the team is the best team. |
