According to a decision by the Washington, dc appellate court: The police while having a "contract"
for the safety of the general public, have no such contract with ANY specific individual (unless
otherwise arranged) - in other words, unless you have a cop on your "payroll", you are on your own
brothers & sisters - & that's the law |

Rapid police response is important in cases where the crime is still taking place when they
get the 911 call. Just because not all crimes fit that description doesn't mean it isn't important. |

If a bank is being robbed by gunmen should the police take their time getting there and just hope
no-one gets shot. I know banks have guards but they are usually poorly trained. |
